The Orient Star Contemporary Three Hand RE-BQ0001G00B introduces a sophisticated gold dial to the brand’s forward-looking Sakigake Design Project. Developed around the concept of “supple strength”, the collection combines flowing, organic curves with sharply defined surfaces to create an elegant sports watch with a distinctly modern Japanese character.
 
Its gold sunburst dial changes subtly as it catches the light, ranging from soft champagne tones to a richer golden finish. Applied faceted hour markers and polished hands complement the clean three-hand display, while the absence of a date window or power-reserve indicator gives the dial a beautifully balanced and uncluttered appearance.
 
The polished and brushed SUS316L stainless-steel case flows naturally into the integrated bracelet. Rounded centre links are combined with broader H-shaped links, adding visual depth while allowing the bracelet to sit comfortably around the wrist. At 38.7 mm across and only 11.8 mm thick, the watch offers refined proportions suitable for both formal occasions and everyday wear.
Inside is the Orient Star F7542 automatic mechanical movement. This in-house calibre can also be wound by hand and delivers a power reserve of more than 50 hours, with accuracy rated at +15 to -5 seconds per day. Its decorated movement can be admired through the sapphire crystal exhibition case back.
 
A dual-curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating provides excellent clarity, while 100 metres of water resistance adds everyday practicality. The result is a beautifully finished Japanese mechanical watch that combines the understated elegance of a dress watch with the durability and comfort of a contemporary integrated-bracelet design.
